321 stainless steel strips refers to an austenitic stainless steel.
321 austenitic stainless steel strip has good corrosion resistance in the atmosphere and is widely used in petrochemical, electric power, bridge and automobile industries.
However, the “stainlessness” of 321 stainless steel is not absolute. Due to the special service environment, 321 stainless steel will also corrode.
Factors such as medium concentration, PH value, and temperature will have a greater impact on the corrosion resistance of 321 stainless steel.
The stainless steel 321 strips are capable of retaining oxidation to 816 degrees C and come with stress rupture and higher creep qualities when compared to the stainless steel 304 and stainless steel 304L. Stainless steel 321 strips is also capable of retaining a great low temperature longevity.
It is possible to weld and process the stainless steel 321 strip using standard fabrication practices.
